MAHLE Powertrain provides unmatched casting experience based on over 30 years of extensive development. Casting processes originally used for race engines have been further developed for series production, providing the same benefits.

Our foundry in Worcester has a proven history of supplying cost-effective, premium-quality castings for many clients across a broad spectrum of applications. The casting processes we offer are equally suitable for prototype phase and series production parts, regardless of volume and thus minimizing process variations and validation requirements.

Unsurprisingly, both automotive and non-automotive clients rely on our well-established casting processes, which have become highly relevant for their applications.

Being used for demanding and high-dependency applications such as cylinder blocks, heads, cam covers, pump bodies, brake callipers, and aerospace comments, our casting experience has successfully demonstrated its advantages.

The product portfolio ranges from small pump bodies and covers to the famed V12 block and cylinder head castings produced since 1996 for the complete range of Aston Martin vehicles.

Furthermore, not less than 20 sets of cast components for the MAHLE I-3 downsizing engine have been developed and produced in our foundry. Although the engines produced from these castings have been subjected to rigorous development testing at extreme loads and internal pressure levels over hundreds of hours, zero failures have occurred.

Due to its flexibility, our casting processes are ideally suited for low-volume production of prototypes and development components as well as higher-volume production casting with enhanced integrity.
