MAHLE Powertrain has a dedicated workshop at its Northampton headquarters catering for all vehicle projects including engine and drivetrain installations, demonstrator vehicle builds and comprehensive instrumentation requirements.

Our Approach

Our skilled vehicle workshop technicians are experienced in a wide variety of tasks including the conversion or upgrade of donor vehicles into fully-functional demonstrators. Typical projects involve extensive modifications to induction, exhaust cooling and fuel systems. Vehicles are often fitted with test instrumentation, data logging equipment, strain gauges and temperature sensors for hot and cold climate testing.
