The Supplier Quality Requirements Table illustrates the required system certification and process assessment requirements for the key material, part and process suppliers. In addition suppliers are monitored for Quality and Delivery performance and this data is used as the basis for awarding further contracts.

(1) Engineering Service suppliers are to be approved by the responsible Chief Engineer (where applicable). The method of assessment and evaluation is to be defined by the Chief Engineer.(2) Those suppliers processing consumables that have a direct influence on product quality, e.g. deburring / finishing media, will be assessed and approved by the site quality function.
(3) Not all Original Equipment Manufacturers are certified to ISO9001, nor do all OEM’s support servicing & maintenance contracts. MPT purchasing policy is to identify and approve capable sub-contractors for servicing / maintenance.
(4) Selected laboratories shall have a defined scope that demonstrates the capability to calibrate the particular type of equipment and either accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 (or national equivalent), or be approved by our customer(s) for the purpose.
Where a supplier of production material does not conform to the above requirements. MPT at the discretion of the MPT Project, Cross Functional Team who will request a supplier assessment by the Quality Department. The Supplier must have as a minimum ISO9001
