Our test facilities comprise torsional vibration measurement of cam drivetrain dynamics; rig tests to measure cam and tappet scuffing and pitting; wear tests using both motored and fired engines; laser vibrometer and proximity sensors to monitor the dynamic movement of all valvetrain components; dynamic load (strain) measurements of components; and high speed video to examine valve rotation and lubrication.
